Biography
Jon Rosa is a dynamic and enterprising non-profit leader with a distinguished record of
advancing mission-driven organizations and improving the lives of others. With more
than 20 years of executive experience, Jon has led national and regional organizations
— including ThanksUSA, the Fuel Fund, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He has developed and executed growth
strategies, streamlined operations, and expanded access to critical resources for those
in need. His leadership is marked by a passion for helping others to be happy, healthy,
and successful; and a talent for overcoming complex challenges to maximize mission
impact.
Throughout his career, Jon has demonstrated a deep commitment to service,
particularly in support of the military community. As President & CEO of ThanksUSA,
he led a national non-profit dedicated to providing need-based scholarships and
meaningful employment pathways for the children and spouses of U.S. military
servicemembers. His work has been recognized for its integrity and impact, leading
four-star Charity Navigator organizations and serving on several industry and
community boards.
As a Navy veteran, Jon’s dedication to service is also reflected in his personal life. He is
deeply committed to the military, inspired by his wife, who is a Sergeant Major in the
U.S. Army and has dedicated nearly 30 years of active-duty service. Her leadership and
sacrifice are a continual source of motivation for Jon’s own work and values. Jon holds
an MBA from Penn State University and brings strategic vision and heartfelt
compassion to every role he undertakes, always striving to uplift communities and honor
those who serve.
