Dave was a Navy fighter pilot. When he returned from overseas, he faced the collapse of his entire life. At the very bottom, without hope and without a reason to live, Dave remembered his mother’s advice: when you aren’t feeling that great, the best thing you can do is look to help someone else. He resolved to fight depression and fight for a new chance at life. He had to humble himself and go into intense flight-school-era learning mode and then combined everything that worked into one book intended to help combat the veteran suicide rate and get veterans back on track. Dave recently published his book (Dogfighting Depression: A Navy Fighter Pilot’s Guide to Getting Unstuck and Achieving the Life of Your Dreams) with the help of Warrior Rising. Dave is an inspiration for the courageous example he creates for other vetrepreneurs.
