North Carolina native, Christian, husband and father…faith, family and everything else are my priorities. Retired Marine aviator - by trade in the USMC, flew more than 2,200 hours in fighter and training aircraft and served in a variety of positions and places in aviation, ground, logistics and academic units conducting domestic and global operations (both combat and training). In the past 12 years, I operated at the senior / executive leadership levels, led and taught mid-grade officers and graduate students in business planning, operations and leadership, and responsibly oversaw all aspects of a $86M+ program of 16 projects.
Currently, providing operational leadership for the division and analytical support across the Naval Aviation Enterprise, especially for matters pertaining to U.S. Marine Corps and Aviation. Mr. Russ possesses 22+ years of practical experience and holds certifications in numerous disciplines to include Marine Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI), Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor (TOPGUN) and Professional Project Management (PMP®). Relevant experience includes the following:

Today, he serves as a Supervisory Program Manager for ManTech International Corporation.
He is married to the former Victoria Thomas of Gainesville, Florida (20+ years) and has three children, Thomas (18), James (15), and Caroline (13). They reside in Stafford, Virginia.
