Abby Malchow


Abby is a Senior Program Manager for Amazon’s Global Military Affairs and has over 15 years of program, procurement, supply chain, and portfolio management experience obtained globally in the United States Navy, civil service, and private sector, including Argentina, Japan, England and Iraq. Abby holds an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland, and a BBA (cum laude) from University of San Diego. Additionally, she is an alum of the inaugural cohort of President George W. Bush’s Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program where she worked on redefining artificial intelligence algorithms on social media platforms to provide targeted suicide prevention to veterans.

Previously she was a Leadership Fellow and legislative advocate for Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America and one of the 22 veterans who successfully advocated to Congress for support of the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for America’s Veterans Act, which was signed into law by President Obama on February 12th, 2015. Additionally, she previously served on the board of American Veterans at Intel Corporation. Abby has been serving in the Navy for 18 years, both active and Reserve, and is proud to be an OIF veteran and Chief Petty Officer.
